Aggron. Tyranitar. Both are of the mountains. But, one has always been the destroyer, the other a faithful guardian. Their conflict extends far into the reaches of time. Aggron has always faithfully guarded his home. Tyranitar, in search of a place to hone his aggressiveness seeks to obliterate the rocks of the mountain. The two battle for this territory, the mountain at the edge of the desert. And as mountains bring the rain shadows to deserts, the place is none other than the Shadow of the Desert.

As these two Pokemon have fought over their conflicting ideals, to guard and to destroy, a lone Ghastly watches from the sidelines. She is shadowfiles, a spectator of the chaos. She has set up the scene as a tourist attraction respectively known as Shadow of the Desert. Some of her other discoveries from exploring different regions of the Pokemon world are on the "Fakes of SOTD" page.

Shadowfiles has spectated scenes of the world before. Before designing to Shadow of the Desert, she was a traveler, hovering across the world. Always, she has been marked by floating snacks such as popcorn. The first battle scene she had ever watched and painted was one of Disaster and Dispair". The picture was painted after she had followed a Greyeon, her first new Pokemon discovery, for some time, and she had added herself to the picture later.

The battle still continues today as Tyranitar smashes rocks with his massive strength and Aggron stands in the way of Tyranitar. But, of course, we who feel neither the need to protect the mountain or the will to destroy it shall remain spectators of this marvelous scene.
